Boasting authenticity and leisure, as well as the romance of the great safari tents, the seven luxurious tented suites of Matawi Serengeti Camp overlooks the vast view of the endless plains that inspired the Lion King, the camp combines the beautiful design of wooden platforms, textured fabrics and clean lines with true safari experience that embodies the heart and soul of the bush
The camp’s 7 en-suite luxury tents are on elevated wooden platforms. They include king size beds fitted with mosquito nets, a sitting area, study table, and a spacious bathroom with a claw foot bath tub and shower.
Electricity in the Camp
Matawi believes in the concept of sustainably luxury that is why Matawi Serengeti Camp has invested in the use of Renewable Energy through Solar Energy and the Camp has employed the latest Technology to ensure our impact in the environment is reduced as far as possible. Matawi Serengeti Camp has employed Solar panel worth producing 18000 watts of Electricity saving more than 9,600 liters of diesel per annum, Also the Camp is equipped with Solar Water heater with the ability of producing up to 8,500 liters of water daily saving more than 10,000 litre of diesel per annum, which translate into saving tons of emission of Carbondioxide in the Atmosphere
